Colleges and universities across the country benefit from our integrated facility design, development, and management expertise. DLR Group collaborates with clients to design solutions that support organizational strategy, objectives, and values. Our Higher Education experts work as a trusted partner to public colleges and universities and private institutions on campuses across the nation providing master planning, allied health, and residence hall expertise.
DLR Group’s Justice+Civic practice is recognized for award-winning courthouse and correctional design for local, state, and federal clients. In no other market type is our promise to elevate the human experience more vital than in the design of modern, humane correctional facilities. Our designers deliver flexible civic buildings, public safety complexes, and correction facilities to meet the unique needs of inmates and staff in local communities.
The DLR Group Sports Studio aims to support clients on a Quest for Championships. Our Sports design elevates the fan and student-athlete experience on campuses across the nation including Louisiana State University, University of Nebraska, University of Texas, and University of Southern California, and for owners of professional franchises across the country.
DLR Group fully supports the initiatives and goals of the 2030 Challenge and is an initial signatory to the AIA 2030 and the China Accord. We believe sustainability is best judged by disciplined, systematic evaluation of high performance building metrics (energy, air quality, daylighting, water, maintenance costs, wellness, productivity, etc.) to measure the effectiveness of design and not just by plaques on a wall.
